Director of Quality
We are looking for a quality professional with ample experience to step into the role of Director of Quality at Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, South Carolina. You will manage the quality department at this 273 bed facility.
You will be required to have your Master’s of Science in Nursing, along with management and Quality Outcomes experience within a healthcare organization. An ideal candidate will have their Certification in Healthcare Quality or Six Sigma/Lean training.

Quality Director - Aiken regional
Position Description:
This position is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of activities associated with the Quality Outcomes Management Department, including the hospital’s Infection Control Program. Responsibilities include continuous hospital preparation and compliance with regulatory agencies; facilitation of the hospital Performance Improvement Program with the goal of positively impacting the quality and efficiency of patient care. This position is also responsible to facilitate and support physician quality through the medical peer review process, ensuring federal state and regulatory requirements are met. Identify possible quality concerns with referral to the appropriate department for follow-up; coordinate reporting of findings and recommendations back to Medical Peer Review Committee for closure.
Qualifications
Education requirements: Masters in Nursing; Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Work experience requirements: Previous, recent experience in Quality Outcomes in healthcare organization. Previous management experience
Required licenses/ certifications/courses: Six Sigma/Lean training preferred.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Current knowledge of regulatory compliance standards for healthcare organizations, including behavioral health; experience with accreditation processes.
