Clutch Recruitment was formed in 2021 by the most successful Infection Prevention recruiter in the nation, placing more than 200 IP professionals since 2015.

For nearly a decade, Jacob Hutcherson has been a noteworthy leader in the Infection Prevention & Control space. You may know him from his work as a Senior Executive Recruiter with other search firms, but Jacob can also be credited with contributions to APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Prevention and Epidemiology), and NAHQ (National Association for Healthcare Quality).

Jacob has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions for his recruiting success. From 2018 – 2020, he was named a “Big Biller” by Sanford Rose Associates for being a top performing recruiter nation-wide.

Since 2015, Jacob has represented more than 800 Infection Prevention professionals in their pursuit of Infection Prevention jobs. He is the number one Infection Prevention recruiter in the nation.

He holds a Bachelor degree from Covenant College and currently resides in Chattanooga, TN with his wife and two young children.

Now serving as the CEO at Clutch Recruitment, Jacob plays a major role in Recruiting, Business Development, and Account Management. Through his commitment to this role, he has quickly led Clutch Recruitment to become the preferred recruiting firm in the Infection Prevention space.
